case study - Project 5 (of eleven)

This house is built on a small footprint on a very steep site, with views across the adjoining valley. A bridge link from the street provides easy access for visitors and vehicles. The building was designed over multiple levels to allow ease of use through zoned living, sleeping, service - public and private spaces. At each level access to decks and the site have been provided, as opportunities for outdoor living on 'flat areas' was considered vital. The building is constructed from light weight panel materials to simplify the build on this difficult building site.
